Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System: Does It Actually Work?
Watch & read my quick review to discover why I give this at home microdermabrasion product 21/25 stars .
Cost:
Retail Price: $32.99 (Hint: Get the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System on eBay for only about $20)
At about $33 I think the cost is minimal. Just one microdermabrasion treatment in my spa would cost you $75. While spa & med spa microdermabrasion treatments are more aggressive and allow us to get quicker results, this is a good at-home alternative.
You’re able to do the same thing at home but over a longer period of time. I have tried other at-home microdermabrasion kits that have easily cost twice as much.
It’s inexpensive enough so that if it doesn’t work for you, you’re not out of a lot of money.
Ease Of Returning: 
I tried to return the product after opening it and Walmart wouldn’t take it back. Most stores (except for high-end retailers) won’t accept returns on opened skin care products. So if you just wanted to try it, and it doesn’t work on your skin type, you typically won’t be able to return it.
That’s why I recommend buying it at the cheapest possible cost. You won’t lose a lot of $ if it doesn’t work.
Time Investment:
It took me no time at all (about 4 minutes) to do an entire treatment. Plus I really liked the fact that there was no clean up. You just throw the pad away when you’re done.
I just kept it somewhere visible so that I could remember. Or, you could put it high in your shower so that you don’t forget to use it 2-3 x’s per week.
Ease Of Getting The Product:
It was very easy for me to get…my husband picked it up for me at Walmart! But I wish I would have gotten it on eBay and saved about $15 . You can also pick it up at your local Walgreens, Target, Rite-Aid, etc.
Ease of Use:
The Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System was very easy to use. I love that there’s no messy products! Other at-home microdermabrasion kits come with creams that can be messy sometimes.
This comes with disposable pads that are easy to apply. When you’re done, just throw ‘em away! I found it to be the easiest at-home microdermabrasion system that I’ve tried so far.
Overall Rating: 21/25 Stars
Overall, I recommend this product and you should see results from it.
Microdermabrasion is good for a variety of skin conditions: Hyperpigmentation (discoloraiton), acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, etc.
However, I would use caution if you suffer from acne. This could cause more problems for you.
Finally, microdermabrasion can be used on other areas of your body to have a smoothing and lightening effect. This product is mild enough so that you can try it on other areas of your body (neck, shoulders, etc.) and see how your skin responds.
